My sum total of earnings on InboxPounds so far. Slow going, but money is money I suppose, so I can't complain. The odd jobs and random clicks are as tedius as I'd imagined they would be, but at this point, I can do nothing but give it a go and see if it works out to anything near worthwhile. I have a few other sites on the go as well, which are slow accumulating aside from SwagBucks, which at this point I am only using to enter competitions - so far, the prize prices seem INSANELY high for the amount of 'bucks' you can accumulate daily.
I have also trawled through forum after forum, site after site and link after link in aim of signing up for a list of varied competitions, with prizes ranging from mere pounds in vouchers to massive holidays (although, god knows what I'll do if I win a holiday... Take a shitload of valium, a wheelchair and hope for the best?). I managed to discover an INCREDIBLY handy little device called RoboForm, which keeps all of my relevant details in its database and will deposit them in entry forms at the click of a button, thus saving my fingers A LOT of unecessary typing. I like saving my fingers from pain.
I started playing around with jewellery today, also. I have so far made a bunch of cute little cameo style necklaces that I'm quite pleased with. Now all I need is to somehow procure a camera to take some decent pictures of them, and then away to Etsy I go! (Or maybe not.. that's something I'll have to look into re: fees etc. That's a mission for future me.)
Anyway, slow progress is slow, but it's still early days, si I live in hope of something shiny some time soon :)

A Beginning.
So, it seems that I have found myself at 29 years of age, with barely any money or aspirations, thankful for a (frankly, rather meagre) monthly disability payment and thinking that my lot in life is precicely this; settling for being skint and housebound with my illness and no hope. Forever more.
I do not like this conclusion.
So, I said to myself, what can I do about it? Realistically?
Take endless online surveys for money? Sign up for every competition that I can find and hope that my efforts are rewarded at some point? Create some sort of online business that I can run from home? Something else that my brain hasn't got to yet?
For a start, I shall be giving a shot to the three above ideas. I spent a fair chunk of yesterday filling in forms for competitions and pennies, although that option is largely a waiting game that it'll take a while to see any success in.
I've made jewellery out of bits and bobs I've found online for gifts and such before, perhaps I can make something that people will actually want to purchase? I guess it's worth a try. I might dig through my stuff tomorrow and see what I have to offer on that front.
If anyone has any other ideas, do feel free to chip in! I would love to be a bit more self sufficient before 30, so any advice is good advice! In the mean time, I shall be working my fingers to the bone, tapping out endless details for pennies at a time. Wish me luck!
